When you leave a comment on our website, not only the data entered in the comment form, but also your IP address and browser user agent are collected to help us detect unwanted comments.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also known as a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using the service. How long will your data be stored?
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows subsequent comments to be automatically recognised and approved rather than left in the moderation queue.
Contact data (name, email) received through our contact and comment forms is kept for 6 months unless followed by a request to subscribe to the newsletter.
Data entered in the mailing list (newsletter) is kept indefinitely, until you unsubscribe manually via the link in the email or by written request.
The rights you have over your data
If you have an account or if you have left comments on the site, filled in a contact form or a newsletter subscription form, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including those you have provided to us.
